LEARN HOW TO FORMULATE AND MAKE YOUR OWN NATURAL HANDMADE SOAP Our cold-process, natural soap-making workshops are fun, vibrant and informative. We will spend some time covering theory ( the basic principles and science of saponification ) and how to formulate your own recipes. You will get to choose your own oils, butters and additives ( such as clays, teas, herbs and essential oils ) You will learn everything you need to know to make soap at home. We provide everything you need for this 4 to 5 hour workshop, including • The Recipe plus 3 more recipes to take home • Ingredients • Equipment • Protective Clothing and • Delicious light lunch & beverages • A batch of handmade soaps ( +- 11 bars ) that you have made, valued at R No prior experience is needed to join our workshop, we will teach you everything you need to know. We host a maximum of 5 guests to allow for personal attention. In the workshop we will cover the following: – What is soap – Different types of soaps – Methods of soapmaking – Equipment, supplies and ingredients needed – Soap making oils and their properties – What will be provided: All soapmaking equipment ( including safety gear, an apron and ingredients will be provided. ) You will take the soap you make and leave behind all the other equipment and gear. You will be able to buy a soap making kit or raw ingredients at the end of the workshop. Ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to gift the ticket to a friend. We reserve the right to cancel the workshop at any time in which case we will issue refunds. You will soon be making your own natural soap at home, with the knowledge and confidence to create natural, organic soap from scratch...that’s good for you and our planet Earth. Using skin-loving ingredients such as unrefined shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, natural essential oils and natural colorants, you will get to make your own batch of natural handmade soap to take home with you!
